PURITY IS TEMPORARY
2018
cleaning cloths, dirt

Cleaning treated as a cliché female activity, became a protest, a political manifesto against the notion of patriarchy. Dirt, used as a material to dye rags, is exposed in order to create a message: no woman no kraj! [pl. no woman no country!]
The project consists of three large-scale banners / tapestries with different slogans: no woman no kraj! / purity is temporary and time to change the water!
Cleaning significant public spaces of the city such as a church, a governmental building or a main square became a performative act called
gentle protest which is a part of the project.
